Albania’s Premier Berisha inaugurated the road reconstruction Llongo – Koshovica, he, in the Upper Dropull, in the district of Gjirokastra, 5.3 kilometer long, investment worth 85 million, financed by OFID and the Albanian government. Part of this investment has been a 270 meter segment that connects the village Koshovica, he with the border crossing with Greece, and three small bridges on this axis.
Street helps the residents of this area in 1150 and since the majority of residents working in the border area with Janina, the new road will ease and shorten their movement towards work and home. Street will also be used for the promotion of mountain tourism in this area, which is known for its rich water resources and massive forest trees.
The ceremony also welcomed a Koshovicës resident, who said that residents expect this investment for years. “You promised four years ago this way and now become a reality. Also, you promised us then that will put your self and will inaugurate this route. We were afraid you came not because other politicians have lied to us for decades, “he said.
Premier Berisha thanked the residents of Koshovicës for the warm and fraternal, and expressed his pleasure to inaugurate the road, which further develops the area, an opportunity for residents of this Albanian municipality to quickly relate to urban centers, but also those living abroad, return and develop their projects there
